Church Family,

 You have seen the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene, and many of you have loved ones who have been impacted.  We have reached out to the Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief leadership to see how we can aid in their efforts.  At this time, they have said that financial contributions are their greatest need.

 There will be other specific material needs as the support infrastructure gets set-up, and we will continue to update you on ways we can join together to help.  If you want to give financially, make your checks payable to FBC Dickson and designate them for Hurricane Relief.

 For those of you who want to go help, the Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief team in Clarksville is planning to send a team.  Our church has partnered with this group many times in the past.  They are currently leaving Sunday morning October 13th to first go to Dandridge, TN and return October 20th.  If you would like to join this team, and you are fit for manual labor,  please contact Gary Vincent (615.970.9821), commitments to go and work must be made this week.

 Please continue to pray for those suffering and for the many emergency workers and volunteers who will be going into these areas
